Welcome to the Young Researchers Club!

Hello fellow Young Researcher (YR) members and welcome to the University of Calgary Society of Young Researchers' blog! As we have a number of events planned for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year, this blog will help us better inform you of these events and the details associated with them. This will also provide another method of communication between members to encourage collaboration across students/researchers of different disciplines such as in the Arts and Sciences.

The site is still mostly under construction and some links may not have an existing page yet. Thus, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are currently doing our best to get these links up and running as soon as more details are finalized. Be sure to check the website frequently for news and updates on events and other resources as they become available. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you will find this site useful!

In addition, with the creation of the new SSPEAK sub-committee of the UCSYR, we will be hosting several new workshops to help prepare each of you with the different skill sets necessary in the field of research. More information about these workshops will be provided in the coming months! We hope you frequently make use of this blog to stay up-to-date with the happenings of the club and find this a useful feature in getting involved not only with our club but also on campus and the community as a whole. We hope to hear from you and see you at our future events.
