Hely Shah -  President

Daniel Korchinski - VP Communications
Daniel Korchinski is an undergraduate student entering into his second year in a combined Neuroscience/Physics degree. His research interests include quantum cryptography, high fidelity single photon detectors, and near infrared spectroscopy. Daniel is a voracious consumer of novelty, and loves travel, science and art.

 Laronna Sewell - VP Finance

Laronna is in her second year of neuroscience at the University of Calgary. Her ultimate goal is to be a neuroscience research professor. Her first experience with research was an internship at the Brain Research Centre at the University of British Columbia during her high school years. The lab imaged developing neurons in the visual systems of tadpoles. She now works in the Dunn Lab at the Experimental Imaging Centre here at the University of Calgary. Her current project is using near infrared spectroscopy to measure brain communication in concussion patients. Though the brain is her main passion, Laronna hopes she maintains balance through her other interests, such as literature, hiking, cooking, and volunteering.

Nancy Kamar - VP Events

Elliott Reichardt - VP Publicity

Elliott is a second year student completing a dual degree (BHSc/BSc) in the areas of biomedical sciences, and physics. Elliott is an enthusiastic undergraduate student, with a passion for research, community engagement, and interesting conversations. Elliott is currently involved with researching the roles of dendritic cells during acute pulmonary conditions—such as pneumonia, or sepsis—here at the University of Calgary. Elliott’s research interests are focused on immunology, particularly on innate recognition of pathogens, and the initiation and regulation of acute pulmonary inflammation. Elliott’s other research interests include, music, hiking, running, watersports, science, and philosophy.
